Lacquer Painting ( THIÊN ẤT – MÔN THẦN )

Original price was: $4,500.00.Current price is: $3,800.00.

Vietnamese lacquer paintings are created by using the resin of the lacquer tree combined with mineral pigments and other materials such as gold, silver foil, mother-of-pearl, and snail shell to create a smooth, glossy coating on wooden surfaces. These lacquer paintings are often painted on wooden panels (vóc), which are then coated with layer upon layer of lacquer to create a beautiful glossy effect. The lacquer technique requires sophistication and skill from the artisans who perform it.
According to Vietnamese astrology (tử vi), the Thiên Ất quý nhân (Heavenly Noble) is considered the most auspicious deity in one’s destiny. Those who possess it are destined for glory, early achievement of fame, and easy career advancement. If one’s birth chart is inherently filled with prosperous energy, they can potentially reach the ranks of great generals or high-ranking officials. When one’s major or minor life cycles align with a year or period influenced by the Heavenly Noble, positive outcomes are certain in all aspects of life: officials will be promoted, ordinary people will encounter good news, and in general, everything will be favorable for everyone.
